| What's new? November 25, 2011 There are some changes coming to Annie's Rodents! We will soon be offering reptile supplies as well! We have been asking you, our customers, what you would like to see us carry and you've given us some great suggestions, but the items most often mentioned have been bedding and heating supplies. We will be working to bring these items in soon! We have also decided to start out own Facebook page as well! Just look for Annie's Rodents on Facebook and click "Like" to get information on sales, new items, and for out of town delivery news! You can also share your pictures of your own pets enjoying our rodents or share your experiences with us. We'd love to hear your feedback! July 7, 2011 We've included new pricing exclusive for Paid BC reptile club members only. The spring BCRC show was a lot of fun and we enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by our table to chat or pick up an order. There were a LOT of awesome animals there and we brought home far more animals than we planned. LOL! As I sit here typing this, my tiny little micro geckos are happily wagging their tails and hunting crickets. Thank you to Renee from Just Geckos for these little treasures... and thank you also to Kameko and Sam from Elemental Herps for the beautiful acrylic enclosure which houses them! One of my goals in the next while is to take some pictures of my own collection and share them on this site. Guess that means it's time to dust off the ol' Instamatic. ;) March 20, 2011 With the rising cost of feed and other supplies, we've had no choice but to raise our prices to compensate. The new prices are on the respective pages and will take effect immediately. I would also like to take this time to address several issues which seems to be happening more and more frequently. As most of you know, I work HARD to provide you with a high quality, clean, and nutritious prey item for your exotic pets, but recently several people have gotten the idea that my prices are flexible. Let me make this perfectly clear... they are NOT! If you are not happy with my prices, find another supplier. My prices are based on the rising cost of feed, and other supplies which are needed to ensure the health of my animals and do NOT take into account my labour. I encourage customers to come out and pick up their orders, but keep in mind that if you don't let me know you are coming, I might not be home. Drop ins are fine, but keep in mind I might not have what you need on hand. Which brings me to the next issue... I need a week's notice for orders. I've had too many people call and expect me to fill their orders in only a few hours. I'd like to remind you that I have other customers who have placed their orders before you, so I might not have what you need. When you place your orders and arrange a time to come pick them up, please have the courtesy of calling me if you can't make it or are going to be late. If you don't pick up your order and don't call me, I will assume you don't want it and it will be put back. If you arrange for a second time and don't pick it up, it will be put back. August 2, 2010 The rat barn is filled and our freezers are all full as well! Thank you for your patience! I am now happy to announce that we can now take large and small orders! We have also decided to expand our delivery area to include areas like Merrit, Kelowna, Kamloops for a delivery fee of $20. We are also able to start shipping in near future as well, with some conditions. As you can see, we are trying to listen to your suggestions and requests! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write us! :) May 25, 2010 These last several weeks have been a very busy time for us. The rat barn is now full to capacity and our freezers are filling up fast! Now that the rat barn is finally finished, with the exception of the siding, we're looking forward to our next project... a new and improved mouse barn and feed room. We've also updated our website and included a "Links" page to help you find your favourite breeders quickly. We've tried to include as many breeders as we can think of, but if we have missed you, please contact us and we'll be happy to include a link for you! We've also lowered some of our prices slightly as we've been able to work out a bit of a deal with our feed supplier and can pass the savings on to you! We're also working on a Facebook page where we hope to offer special discounts and sales that won't be found anywhere else. This is still a work in progress though... so please keep checking back! April 9, 2010 Unfortunately, we just found out that the cost of feed has gone up since our last order, so we've had to adjust our own prices slightly to reflect this. We've also been getting phone calls late at night from people wanting to place orders and wanting to come by late at night, so we've decided to set business hours, which you'll see on the home page. March 1, 2010 What's new? Well, for one thing I've decided to change the look of the website. I've also changed some of the prices. Take a look around and see what you think. During the next few weeks, I'll also be adding a picture size comparison to make it a bit easier to judge the sizes. Another addition to the site is this blog, which I hope (fingers crossed) to keep updated with specials and anything new that happens with the business. I'll also try to give you a head's up on some of the amazing reptile breeders in this province and any reptile related events that might be happening! Did I mention that I just got a brand new 25 cubic feet freezer just for the rats? I just had it delivered on Friday and have started filling it up! Now that we've finished building all the racks for the rat barn, I've started stocking up. Well, I think that's about it for now. If I think of anything else, I'll make sure to post it here!
